Eastern Thunder Clinch Plate Glory at SCC 7s 2026

Eastern Thunder delivered a strong showing at the SCC 7s 2026 tournament, with both Team A and Team B making impressive runs deep into the competition.

In the semi-finals, Eastern Thunder Team B battled hard but fell just short in a narrow 0–1 defeat against Braca Vita. Despite the loss, the team displayed resilience and determination throughout their campaign, earning their place among the tournament’s top contenders. On the other side of the bracket, Eastern Thunder Team A rose to the occasion, securing a confident victory over SCC Tigers to book their place in the Men’s Plate Final.

Carrying their momentum into the final, Team A produced a composed and clinical performance, defeating Braca Vita 3–1 to lift the Men’s Plate trophy. The victory capped off a memorable weekend for the club, highlighting the depth, quality, and fighting spirit across both squads.
