Eastern Thunder Masters delivered a dominant and determined performance at the SCC 7s 2026, capping off an outstanding campaign with a well-deserved championship title.
The Masters side showcased consistency and control throughout the group stage, recording four wins and a hard-fought 1–1 draw against Royal Bangkok Sports Club. Carrying this strong momentum into the knockout rounds, they faced a formidable Weston side in the semi-finals. Rising to the challenge, Eastern Thunder produced a composed display, securing a 2–0 victory and notching their fifth clean sheet of the tournament—highlighting their defensive solidity.
In a thrilling final against a strong Singapore Malays team, Eastern Thunder Masters demonstrated both resilience and character. After conceding the opening goal, the team responded swiftly and managed to take the lead just before half-time. Singapore Malays battled back to level the score, setting up a tense finish. However, in dramatic fashion, Eastern Thunder found the decisive goal in the dying seconds to seal the title.
