Eastern Thunder FC Women Set for Global Stage at Standard Chartered Hong Kong Soccer Sevens 2025

Eastern Thunder FC Women are gearing up for their biggest test yet as they prepare to represent Singapore at the prestigious Standard Chartered Hong Kong Soccer Sevens 2025. The fixtures are officially out, and it’s set to be a thrilling challenge for our ladies as they go head-to-head with some of the region’s and world’s most recognized clubs.

Group Stage Fixtures Announced

The draw sees Eastern Thunder FC Women placed in a highly competitive group, facing five elite opponents across two action-packed days:

Day 1 – Friday, 16 May

• 🆚 Kitchee FC – A dominant force in Hong Kong’s women’s football scene.
• 🆚 Wrexham AFC Women – by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, and one of the most talked-about teams globally.
• 🆚 Hong Kong FC – The tournament hosts and strong contenders with a passionate home crowd behind them.

Day 2 – Saturday, 17 May

• 🆚 Chonburi FC Women – One of Thailand’s top women’s sides with years of experience in top-tier football.
• 🆚 TSL FC (formerly Chelsea FC Soccer School HK) – Known for their technical style and English football foundations.
