Eastern Thunder Veterans (40+) made a strong statement in their debut appearance at the prestigious RBSC 7s, qualifying for the Cup Quarter-Finals after a gritty group-stage campaign in Bangkok.
The tournament didn’t start the way ETFC had hoped, with a narrow 2–1 defeat to defending champions Love Football. However, the Veterans showed their class and resilience, bouncing back with a commanding 3–0 win over Ironman SoHo before grinding out a disciplined 0–0 draw against Honda Rama. Those crucial results secured enough points to finish in the top tier and book a place in the knockout rounds.
